Garmin MapSource 6.15.6 Special Download Pc
Thanks for your response! I have gone to the site you mentioned and downloaded and installed MapSource and Basecamp 6.15 to my Vista 64-bit system. I had to run through a couple of these screens as some of them wouldn't run. It says the program exists somewhere in the mydocuments/garmin/ folder, but it isn't there. It is empty. I have a folder with three sub-folders and one of those is empty.

I have the same issue as "sbergold". I use C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Garmin\Garmin (first drop-down). If I go to there, I get a tool bar when I open it saying:"Are you sure you want to open C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Garmin\Garmin?" If I click Yes, I get the error saying that I can't access C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Garmin\Garmin. I also tried downloading to: C:\Windows\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\Garmin. I'm not certain where to go from here, as all the other downloads I've tried are missing certain modules. Thanks, Bob
If I go to https://www.garmin.com/support/downloads/garmin-map-reader/ then I get a "garmin-map-reader-x.x.x.x.exe" file. Is that the file you are talking about? If so, I can't get it to work for me. It doesn't seem to want to work in C drive. It looks like it is supposed to download into Program Files (x86) - but I'm not sure where that is, even with a 64-bit system. Do you have any more suggestions?
hello my name is Barry, I have got my gps device to download maps to a base camp but the problem is when I try to create a map i don't get asked who you are. I also try to update the gps program but it askes you to register and when i do that I put in the number of my device but I get an error saying its wrong number and I can't register it. I really would like to be able to use the base camp maps and for it to do all the changes and updates for my gps device and then I can also share my maps with other users on a network.
